With the PowerShot G12 you can easily and quickly adjust your settings from either side of the camera using the useful new scroll dial on the front (that can be customised for each shooting mode) or the rear Multi-Control Dial which can also be disabled to prevent accidental changes to settings. A new Auto ISO level adjustment feature allows you to pre-configure the maximum ISO setting you want to use during shooting to obtain the best balance between image quality and shutter speed e.g. to easily capture moving subjects with a reduced risk of blur. And the dedicated ISO dial is now adjustable in 1/3 stop increments allowing you precise control over the ISO level. The camera also features a new Electronic level function, working in either horizontal or vertical orientations, as well as an optical viewfinder to help you obtain a level horizon.
